The DiFit Method™ 8-Week Ballerina Foundation Program is Phase One of a progressive strength and conditioning pathway created specifically for young ballerinas.
Ideally suited for dancers ages 12–16, with exercises adaptable to individual experience and ability, this program builds the strong, stable foundation a dancer needs before progressing toward more advanced and competition-focused training.
Across eight progressive weeks, dancers develop:
• Foot and ankle strength
• Posture, alignment and core connection
• Full-body and single-leg strength
• Balance, turns and controlled landings
• Mobility and usable range of motion
• Power, endurance and movement confidence
• Recovery, hydration, fueling and sleep habits
• Injury awareness and healthy training practices
The 48-page program includes structured weekly training plans, exercise guidance, baseline and final assessments, readiness check-ins, progress trackers, an exercise library and a completion certificate.
Created to complement regular dance classes and rehearsals—not replace them—this program helps young dancers build strength that supports their artistry, movement quality and long-term development.
